Playful clouds

top two photos are from 730 this morning, the clouds looked like they were having so much fun up there! They were whisking right along, ushering in some wonderfully warm weather that New England hasn't seen in so long. The bottom photo is a spoof! It's tree leaves and sky reflected on my very light blue van hood!

Right place, right timing!

For the life of me I cannot switch the views, the 2nd picture should be the first! I saw the flicker in the tree, liked the sky/clouds and decided to take the picture, right as the flicker took flight. The top photo is a cropped and zoomed image of the same picture. Since he is a creature of the sky I decided he needed to be here in Skyworks!

Another Stormy Afternoon

As the storm rolled in...
but still clear to the east, with whispies just pushing in...
here it comes! with thunder and lighting...our first Tstorm of the season!
and now the storm passes eastward, the sun comes out from the clouds in the west, and illuminates the trees across the street...

Oh beautiful for spacious skies...

Doesn't this look like it should be the picture on one of those Helen Steiner Rice cards ?

Storm coming in, April 1, 2006

Princeton, MA. Sheep-shearing day at Mass. Audubon's Wachusett Meadows Sanctuary. Storm moved in fast just before noon.

After 9 days of clouds and rain in central Massachusetts, finally, blue sky!
